I have a 7 year old female maltese... she eats small breed pedigree food, and sometimes she sneaks people food... she never gets sick, and seems healthy.

Grooming is definitely important for any breed of dog - not just to maintain their physical appearance, but also to ensure that their overall health is in check.

Too many dog owners neglect their pets and fail to groom their dogs often.

My Maltese male was bitten by a mixed breed labradore enough to draw blood. We were there. Now my Maltese goes after largher dogs and barks and is aggressive. I have another Maltese who is 8 years. She has never been a problem. He barks and chases dogs and she does too. Tobey who has just turned 2 years. He wasn't aggressive until the bite came. Can you help me. I have a dog park in the area and was wondering if I took him there to introduce him to big dogs, would that help.

Nice blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere? A theme like yours with a few simple tweeks would really make my blog stand out. Please let me know where you got your design. Cheers

Please don't feed your dogs avocado - it is toxic, but is quite appealing to dogs. Also toxic are grapes, raisins, currants, macadamia nuts, raw eggs, mushrooms, citrus fruit, green potatoes and tomatoes. However, small chunks of raw carrot are a crunchy delicious treat and keep their teeth and breath fresh too.

I have a 15 week F maltese puppy. I am a caregiver and I have to take my little man out once in awhile to the store, or to eat with his F friend. Macy (pup) is not quite trained yet, so I put her in her crate after we go outside to potty. I shut the door and come back within
an hour or 2 at the most. When I get back she is soaked her face and chest and front feet. And she has thrown up.... I'm assuming she barked the entire time I was gone and made herself sick... Please help? I can't be there to watch her Constantly.
